I dont want to be a world cup idiot

so like everyone else i got ready at 11.49 for the germany versus costa rica match. In all honesty i have NEVER sat myself down to watch football. And a whole match at that! Whenever i scrolled past channel 23 ESPN and saw a bright green field with 22 dudes running for one ball i changed channels without haste. Id prefer motorcross anyday

10 minutes into the match. 2 goals already. so wow! that was actually getting quite interesting. I couldnt lift my eyes off the screen.
i survived till half time
after that i went PLOP on my sofa....

and just escaped into never never land.

I woke up what seemed like an eternity later and literally gasped out loud to find the match 40 whole minutes past halftime!

I was cursing, disappointed with myself that i couldnt keep my eyes open for just 90 fucking minutes. But i wasnt sad or anything because i was just watching it for the sake of the world cup and making sure that i wouldnt be left out during the boys world cup review gossip the next day

Footballs good.exciting if goals are actually scored.exciting if your watching it with a whole crazy group.
But when your watching it alone on your tv at home
it kills
