beauty.

34,26,34 - the perfect measurements according to most women and men
How have we defined beauty?
The media ; television, magazines etc has brainwashed our minds to believe that hot curvy sleek bodies and flawless faces are the epitome of beauty.

on a similar note..
Im very much aware that singapore is becoming a more cosmopolitan city, but this....

i mean every single cover of any magazine i chance upon is invaded by faces of ang mohs/eurasians. I dont mean to offend any racial groups but i find it odd.
Im quite intrigued.
I have rarely seen a dark skinned singaporean woman on the cover of any magazines here. of course. magazines need to sell like hotcakes dont they? which bounds down to the mentality of singaporeans - believers of the stereotypical form of beauty.
Shouldnt singaporean magazines be churning out something which singaporeans can relate to, in other words.. what makes us uniquely singapore?

somebody explain
